I'm Natalie, he’s David, and our little ones are Evelyn, Olivia and Kaladin – we are the Swensons!

We have a life motto of Actively Becoming – where we commit to taking the actions needed to become our best selves and help others to do the same. We love the mountains, adventure and Jesus. Come hang with us!

My Story

creating success despite tragedy.

Life is too short to wait to live the life you really want. We got that wake up call when we tragically lost a close family member in 2017 followed by many hardships that seemed to hit us all at once. We hit rock bottom in denial of accepting that so many things could go wrong in such a short time. It sent the trajectory of our life in another direction. We decided to stop waiting for “someday land” to live a life on our terms because we learned someday may never happen.

We decided to make our mess our message.

With life comes pain, with pain comes growth. With growth comes grit, with grit comes results.

We embarked on an entrepreneurship journey.

• David wrote and self published a Children’s Book called Grow. It teaches about how to accept the hard things in life and to find the path to growth through them. It’s not just a children’s book, it’s a story about us.

• We partnered with Zyia Active which is a direct sales Activewear Apparel company that allows people to be individual contractors and run their own business. We worked hard and in time left the corporate 9-5 world and now help others to also use Zyia Active as a tool to live a life on their own terms.

• Through all of our hardships, God has been with us. We found Jesus and He is guiding our life in directions we could have never imagined. Dave is now an operator with a Ministry called SERT that fights human trafficking.
